Kenneth Johnston is one of three Wellington barristers and one professor to be awarded the rank of Queen’s Counsel in 2016. This ancient honour reflects a recognition by the Attorney General that a lawyer has excelled at the highest level of law, and is suitable to undertake the most important and complex litigation before the highest courts.

Ken specialises in civil, commercial and employment litigation, estates and trusts, insurance, professional disciplinary and corporate governance matters. He is regularly appointed as an arbitrator/mediator.

We warmly congratulate Ken on his appointment.
