We welcome Debra Angus as a member of Lambton Chambers. Debra has over 20 years-experience practising at the heart of the parliamentary and public sector and held appointment as the Deputy Clerk of the New Zealand House of Representatives until 2015. Debra has advised on a wide range of public law and regulatory issues and was formerly a Crown Counsel. In 2016, Debra commenced practice as a barrister sole, specialising in public law and democratic governance, before joining Lambton Chambers.

Debra has also worked with international organisations to strengthen developing democracies, advising on effective governance, rule of law and public finance management projects. She has worked on projects in Fiji, the Cook Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Nauru, Vanuatu and the Republic of Georgia.
